CBC is a fully accredited Catholic, Lasallian, college preparatory high school founded by the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1850. Grades: 9 - 12 (all boys) Total Enrollment: 845 students. Tuition (2022-2023): $17,800. Student Fees: $1,510 for laptop, technology, and activity fees.
The new building was ready for students in 1882. By 1889 Christian Brothers College had established a reputation as one of the finest schools in St. Louis. Nearly thirty years later a most tragic event occurred. On the morning of October 5, 1916. a fire destroyed the school. It was not feasible to rebuild on the site, so the property was sold.

Christian Brothers College High School, which opened in Town & Country in 2003, is actually the fourth site of the school in its 172-year history. CBC was founded by the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1850 at Eighth and Cerre Streets in downtown St. Louis. In 1855, the school was granted a college charter by the State of Missouri.
