Jun 19, 2020 · Run the Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 you were trying to install earlier and when you get the popup, point it the 2017 file you just downloaded. Alternatively, you can delete the reference to the 2017 C++ redistributable. To do this: Run regedit.exe as administrator. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products.

You should be able to find it here: ->Windows Accessories->WordPad. or by typing wordpad in the search box on your taskbar then selecting it when it appears (listed as a desktop app).
