Masters Programme. GU offers Masters Programme in about 57 disciplines in Arts, Science & Technology, Law, Commerce & Management through its 49 postgraduate departments, affiliated colleges, and autonomous institutes. The admission process will end in admitting about 1800 students across its postgraduate departments.
Gauhati University adopted the CBCS system long back in 2009. However, it was limited to only few departments. Starting from the Academic Session of 2016, we have implemented the CBCS system across all disciplines.
