The undergraduate teaching in Electronics in Acharya Prafulla Chandra college, New Barrackpore was introduced as a general course in 1986. Subsequently the Department of Electronics, A.P.C. College became the first college in West Bengal to start Honours course in Electronics. The first batch of 20 students passed out in 1999.
