About the Department. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, TKMCE, Kollam was started in the year 1958 with student strength of 40. The degree offered was BSc (Engineering) in Electrical Engineering as its initial stage. Right from the beginning, the Department has been rated with very high performance in academic circles.

TKMCE offers B.Arch. and B.Tech course with seven specializations at the UG level. The institute also offers MCA, M.Arch., and M.Tech. in five specializations at the Postgraduate level. Admission to the B.Tech. course is through KEAM entrance exam. The applicants will have to sit in NATA entrance exam for admission to B.Arch. course.
