1 day ago · Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala had emerged as the kingmaker after the 2019 Assembly polls in Haryana. The incumbent BJP had then won 40 seats out of 90, thus failing to reach the majority mark of 46 seats. The JJP, which had won 10 seats, extended support to the BJP and ensured the formation of the Manohar Lal Khattar government. In return, the JJP got a sweet deal: two ministerial portfolios including the deputy chief minister’s post for Dushyant.
