Young Joe, the Forgotten Kennedy is a 1977 television movie that originally aired on ABC. Based upon the biography by Hank Searls called The Lost Prince: Young Joe, the Forgotten Kennedy, the film chronicles the life of Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., the unlucky older brother of John F. Kennedy.
Brief Synopsis. A drama about the eldest Kennedy brother, who undertook a perilous World War II mission that would bring him home a hero and achieve the family dream of a Kennedy in the White House. The film was Emmy Award-nominated as the Outstanding Special of the 1977-78 TV season.

Filmed in Seattle's,Pioneer Square location,this film was big news in '76.I was young and eager to learn the craft, (as this was my 2nd film to be in). The bar room scenes,and Joe as a boy, were favorites.I studied Peter Strauss and Barbara Parkins acting,and they were fantastic in their love scenes!
