The follow up to the 1970s pair "three and four musketeers", 15 years later. Don't worry its just as good, everybodys just a little bit older, and most of the origianal stars are back, with the addition of the lovely Kim Cattrall joining in with the swordplay. Really good sequel, plenty of laughs along with the action.
The Return of the Musketeers is a 1989 film adaptation loosely based on the novel Twenty Years After (1845) by Alexandre Dumas. It is the third Musketeers film directed by Richard Lester, following 1973's The Three Musketeers and 1974's The Four Musketeers. Like the other two films, the screenplay was written by George MacDonald Fraser.

Dec 8, 2020 · The third outing, Return of the Musketeers, was filmed years later as a bonafide sequel, still loosely based on Dumas's novel sequels, and lovingly featuring most of the original cast. The only negative thing is the unfortunate death of Roy Kinnear during the filming, which necessitated the addition of a double in several of the scenes to finish up the film.
