We may never know if there was a real conspiracy but this is a compelling movie and a single sniper with a bolt action rifle in my view could never have got off the number of shots witnesses cited. A good cast including Burt Lancaster and Robert Ryan lend weight to the plotters and portray a believable conspiracy which is well worth the watch, possibly measured against JFK for contrast.
