Roger Donaldson’s 2000 film, “Thirteen Days,” dramatizes the events of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Though the title resembles Robert F. Kennedy’s 1969 book, it actually adapts Ernest R. May & Phillip D. Zelikow’s 1997 book, “The Kennedy Tapes: Inside the White House During the Cuban Missile Crisis,” which included more information including recently-declassified facts.
