Parikshit Sahani (Parikshit) a.k.a. Parikshit Sahni is an Indian film and TV actor born to Balraj and Damayanti Sahni born in 1944, in Muree, Punjab (Pakistan). He has worked in many Hindi movies including popular ones like 3 Idiots (2009), Chance Pe Dance (2010) etc. Parikshit has also done number of TV serials and some Punjabi movies.
In an interview, Parikshit Sahni claimed that Balraj Sahni wasn’t a religious person and said, He was averse to religion. In his book, Mera Drishitikon, he urged readers to be wary of padres, pundits and mullahs. They are the ones causing wars in the world he wrote.” Balraj Sahni made his debut in the Hindi cinema with ‘Insaaf’ in 1946.
