A former studio executive and current executive producer of 3D cinema, David Nicksay has held many responsibilities in film and television. Joining the field in the mid-1970s, Nicksay entered Hollywood through the Directors Guild of America's Assistant Directors Training Program following his graduation from Hampshire College.
Having been involved in the production of films such as Legally Blonde, Birth of the Dragon, and Walking with Dinosaurs 3D, David Nicksay's latest venture is a screen adaptation of In The Heights, which was originally created for Broadway by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The movie will be directed by Jon M. Chu in his first film since Crazy Rich Asians.
