Vidyut – The National Multi-Fest. Vidyut is a three-day national level inter-collegiate multi-fest, organized by the students of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. The footfall crosses 20,000 and participation of more than 300 colleges and schools, this fest has come a long way from its humble inception in 2012.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (or Amrita University) is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary, research-intensive private deemed university in India. It currently has 19 constituent schools spread across nine campuses in Amaravati , Amritapuri (Kollam), Bangalore , Chennai , Coimbatore , Kochi , Faridabad , Mysore , and Nagercoil .
Amritapuri is also the name by which the location of the ashram is now known. Amritapuri is spread over 100 acres of land and is also the headquarters, and one of the seven campuses of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, alias Amrita University. Embracing the World is a global charity foundation operating under Mata Amritanandamayi Math.
Along with UG programs, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus offers various PG programs including M.Tech, MBA and M.Sc in several specializations. The basic criterion to apply for these courses is the candidate should have secured a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subjects with 60% marks from any recognized university.
