Medical Care Centre Trust for the ailing and the differently abled children. United Way of Baroda has established a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit/Paediatric Care Unit in the year 2006 due to which more than 30,000 neonates received better healthcare services.
United Way of Baroda is the first local set up of United Way in India. United Way of Baroda has been working towards the upliftment of quality of life of underprivileged communities of Gujarat since last 34 years. It has supported numerous government schools, local NGOs, social organisations and indigent individuals.
United Way of Baroda has been supporting Asha Special Education Centre to provide nutritional aid along with medical treatment/therapy assistance for the 50 Special Abled Children. For the year 2023-24, in order to continue UWB’s support INR 10,00,000 has been granted for 50 underprivileged specially-abled children.
Savera Project, launched in the year 2012, has been supporting deprived students hailing from rural and urban areas of Vadodara to complete their primary education in terms of covering their school fees along with provision for complete educational kits as per their standard requisites.
United Way of Baroda launched the “Mission Shiksha” program on 4th May 2021 to support the School Education of those children who have lost one or both of their parents during this COVID-19 pandemic (post March 2020) till June 2021 hailing from 6 Districts of Gujarat (Vadodara, Anand, Panchmahal, Bharuch, Narmada, and Chhota Udepur).
