Overall I'd go with 4/5 just because of the 1st half. SRK gives one of his career best performance, but the film was an insincere attempt to look at the same issues The Reluctant Fundamentalist handled better. Top stuff. Suggested the movie to my German friend and he was moved by the movie.
Synopsis. Rizwan Khan, a Muslim from the Borivali section of Mumbai, has Asperger's syndrome. He marries a Hindu single mother, Mandira, in San Francisco. After 9/11, Rizwan is detained by authorities at LAX who treat him as a terrorist because of his condition and his race.
