  1. We aim to discover the mechanisms that control and coordinate the activity of molecular machines involved in the protein degradation pathway. To do so we apply novel native mass spectrometry approaches, in conjunction with fluorescence microscopy, biochemical and cell biology methods - generating an integrative mode of analysis combining in vitro and in vivo findings.

  2. Explore. Question. Challenge yourself. Join the more than 300 students who are currently pursuing MSc degrees at the Feinberg Graduate School ─ a world-leading, scientific center where students take the initiative in exploring new research ideas and gaining key skills. At the Feinberg Graduate School, students receive the training that later leads them to senior posts in academia, industry, government and scientific and medical research.

  3. The ongoing accelerated pace of discoveries holds promise for the development of mechanism-based therapies for individuals afflicted with motor neuron diseases. We welcome you to the Weizmann Institute of Science to participate in a scientific conference on systematic approaches for ALS research, which will be held from November 12-16, 2023.

  4. Research.Live.Enjoy. The International Office at the Weizmann Institute of Science will be your one-stop shop for all of your non-academic requirements during your visit here. Whether it’s visas, health insurance, housing, buying a train ticket or locating a dentist or butcher – our team will be glad to assist!

  5. The Weizmann Campus. Since its establishment in 1934 in Rehovot, Israel, the Weizmann Institute of Science has grown into one of the foremost centers of multidisciplinary research and graduate study in the world. With a 3,800-strong scientific community in a garden-like 993-acre campus, it fulfills Dr. Chaim Weizmann’s vision that it be a ...

Our new department has been established as part of the structural reorganization of the Faculty of Chemistry. Molecular Chemistry and Materials Science comprises researchers from the Department of Organic Chemistry and ...

  7. Tissue remodeling - from biophysical principles to drug design A multidisciplinary approach to study the extracellular matrix While most biological research focuses on what goes on inside the cell, we look at what is happening on the outside. Our lab studies the cellular microenvironment, which includes the extracellular matrix (ECM) – a collection of secreted molecules (e.g., collagens, glycoproteins, proteoglycans, growth factors, cytokines etc.) that provide both chemical and mechanical ...
