Apr 1, 2024 · The film’s plot is hard to neatly summarize, but the central conceit is that Sherlock Holmes is tackling a case of national import when he becomes aware that his movements are being tracked. Recognizing the danger he is in, he decides he needs to pretend to leave the country to allow him the freedom to work and so decides to send one of his cases to his jealous younger brother, Sigerson Holmes.
