Sep 3, 2013 · Never Go Back was dependably enjoyable like many of the other entries in this vigorous series, but shortly after the conclusion I realized 1.) some of the titillating plot developments were obviously NOT going to pan out, because it would wildly change the direction of the books and 2.) the ultimate fate of the puppet-master bad guys was very much of a let-down after a reasonably sturdy build-up to the climax.
