Unique temple of learning. Visible from the great distance this 1926 skyscraper and Pittsburgh’s major landmark was designed to be a true cathedral of learning. Distinctive, stylized neo gothic vertical design is eye pleasing and exciting. Visiting the interior was indeed similar to visiting a European cathedral.
