George Harrison Marks (6 August 1926 – 27 June 1997) [1] was an English glamour photographer and director of nudist, and later, pornographic films .
From the late 1950’s through until the late 1960’s Harrison Marks published a number of special editions of Kamera, normally 96 pages. These specials contained more of the mainstream photographs that couldn’t be fitted into the pages of Kamera.
Solo Magazine (1958 – 1968) Many other publications were to follow ‘Kamera’ by Harrison Marks. The most successful was ‘Solo’, a similar 32 page black and white format to Kamera, with a colour cover, but featuring just one model in each issue.
