Jan 1, 2022 · ‘EastEnders’ actor Nitin Ganatra has been awarded an OBE for services to drama, in the New Year Honours list for 2022. The actor, who was known to play Masood, is also a brand ambassador of the British Asian Trust. Fellow ‘EastEnders’ star June Brown, who plays Dot Branning, was also recognised for her acting work over the years.
