Because Davey Moore had just died after a fight, because he has always had an interest in boxing, because he was a folk singer, because he‘s a songwriter, because he knew the traditonal song Who Killed Cock Robin? It‘s an interesting, almost philosophical song about who really bears responsibility when a fighter dies.
