Jan 1, 1990 · I much prefer Preston Sturges on Preston Sturges to James Curtis's biography, Between Flops, in which Sturges comes off as selfish, cantakerous and foolish. Sturges may have been his own worst enemy at times, but Curtis neglects to highlight his many gifts. Fortunately, Preston Sturges makes up for it in this memoir.
