Saurabh Shukla. Actor, Writer, Director, Producer. Born March 5, 1963 in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Shukla's family left Gorakhpur for Delhi when he was two years old. After completing his schooling, he graduated from Khalsa College, Delhi. His professional career began in 1984 with his entry into theater.
Saurabh Shukla began his career as a theater artist in 1986 with plays like A View From The Bridge, Look Back In Anger, Ghashiram Kotwal and Hayvadan. In 1991, he joined the professional wing of the National School of Drama and got a break the next year in Bandit Queen, a specially written role for him by Shekhar Kapur.
