  2. I recently began a project exploring the life of Elisabeth Blochmann (1892-1972), an education scholar who taught German literature at the University of Oxford from 1933 to 1952. Blochmann is often remembered today for her life-long correspondence with Martin Heidegger but little is known about her own life and accomplishments (at least amongst English-speaking academics).
