The University of Pennsylvania, commonly referenced as Penn or UPenn, is a private Ivy League research university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.
When applying to Penn, undergraduates are asked to choose one of the University’s four undergraduate schools (the College, Wharton, Penn Engineering, or Penn Nursing), or a coordinated dual-degree, accelerated, or specialized program that will serve as home base throughout their academic journey.
The University Catalog provides information for current and prospective students about all of Penn’s undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, as well as academic policies and resources. The Catalog also provides a listing, by subject, of course offerings across the campus at all levels of education.
