NIT Goa currently operates from a temporary campus located at Goa Engineering College in Farmagudi, Goa which is approximately 29 km away from the state capital at Panaji. Since it is a temporary campus, it has limited accommodation facilities and thus M.Tech and Ph.D. pursuing boys are not given any hostel.
