Sep 12, 2007 · Jussi Adler-Olsen even looks like a guy who just wrote a really good book. This book is a slow burn. If you have read Scandinavian books before you will expect this. I think it was around 130 pages that the book really hooked me. The book switches between Merete before 2007 and Carl investigating her cold case in 2007.
