ThunderCats is an American animated television series based on the characters created by Tobin "Ted" Wolf and produced by Rankin/Bass Productions, the creators of SilverHawks, TigerSharks, and The Comic Strip. Leonard Starr was the head writer for the series. The series follows the adventures of a group of cat-like humanoid aliens.
