Competing since the age of 5, Whitaker has had much experience in the equestrian world and qualified for HOYS aged 8 years. [3]
She is a member of the world-famous Whitaker dynasty, fitting in the family tree as the eldest daughter of Carole and Steven Whitaker. Born in Huddersfield (5/3/1986), she grew up in Yorkshire with her parents and three younger brothers Joe, Thomas and Donald. Ellen has two sons, Harry (2014) and Frankie (2016).
