Veeru Devgan who was born in Amritsar began his career in the year 1974 with the film Roti Kapda Aur Makaan. Mr. Devgan had a long-spanning and illustrious career in Bollywood where he choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films which include Mr. Natwarlal, Ek Khiladi Bawan Pattey, Phool Aur Kaante, Jigar, and Dil Kya Kare.

He was active in helping create fight and action scenes in over 80 Hindi movies, including Inkaar (1977). He directed the action movie Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999). He was born in Amritsar, Punjab .
