Eric Idle (born 29 March 1943) is an English actor, comedian, composer, musician, singer-songwriter and writer. He is one of the members of Monty Python. Monty Python is a British comedy team. Idle was born in South Shields, County Durham. He studied English at Pembroke College, Cambridge. He is known for his songwriting and singing skills.
