Bio/Wiki. • 1995: He was given the Star Screen Lifetime Achievement Award, an Indian cinema prize. Dev Anand and Indian playback singer Lata Mangeshkar were the first to be given the award. • 1997: He was conferred with the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images Award for his outstanding services to the Indian film industry.
